OneDrive Known Folder Redirection

To enhance file backup and accessibility, we are introducing Known Folder Redirection for OneDrive. This feature automatically syncs your important folders—Desktop, Documents, and Pictures—to your OneDrive for Business account, ensuring your files are securely backed up and accessible across devices.

Key Benefits:

• Automatic Backup: Files in redirected folders are automatically saved to OneDrive, protecting against data loss from hardware failures or accidental deletions.
• Cross-Device Access: Access your files from any device connected to your OneDrive account, whether at work or on the go.
• Seamless Integration: No need to manually move files; the process is automated, and your folder structure remains intact.
• Secure Storage: OneDrive provides enterprise-level security with encryption and controlled access.

What to Expect:

• Once enabled, files in your Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders will automatically sync to OneDrive.
• Existing files in these folders will be moved to your OneDrive, and new files will save there by default.
• You can continue working as usual, with no disruption to how you access or save files.

This feature supports our efforts to streamline file management, enhance security, and improve data accessibility.
