    New Phishing Attempt

    Recently, you may have received an email that look like this:

    If you hover your mouse over the word "View", notice the link address.  NO WHERE in the link is anything related to the University's web address, louisiana.edu.  This is a major clue that this email is a phishing attempt.

    Geaux WiFi Outage

    The University's wireless network, GeauxWifi, is not working. Despite the best efforts of our staff and vendor's support, we do not have an estimated time for a solution.

    Central IT has created a new WiFi SSID on campus called “RaginCajuns” as a temporary solution. There is no password or login required.  Please use this alternate wifi access until the Geaux WiFi issues are resolved.

    University Email Moving from Zimbra to Microsoft Office 365

    The University is switching email service providers from Zimbra to Microsoft Office 365's cloud-based email service. The conversion will happen from about 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, until 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12. You will not be able to send or receive emails during this period. Once the conversion is complete, you will see your email in Office 365's web interface.
