Phone Issues

Some offices and departments on campus are experiencing difficulties receiving telephone calls. Affected areas include the Student Cashier Center and the Office of University Housing & Residential Life.

Buildings affected are the Union, Burke, Wharton, Billeaud, Buchanon, dorm main numbers, Judice-Rickels, Randolph, & Guillory.

The issue has been reported to AT&T, and efforts are underway to restore service as quickly as possible.

AT&T is still working the issue.  We will update with more information as it becomes avaialble.

UPDATE Jan 15, 9:00AM

One issue has been resolved, people trying to cal phone extensions in the new RingCentral system can now reach the extension.  A new unrelated issue has occurred.  Callers cannot hear the person they are calling when they call an office or person on an "old" phone system extension.  This issue is being investigated by AT&T.  Updates will be made when more information is available.
