Students, staff and visitors experience variations in cell phone service on Campus. Each cell phone provider makes decisions about the service level they provide in each city and rural area across the country. You (not the University), as a cell phone customer, have a voice in getting your cell phone provider to provide the service you need. Learn about WiFi calling, as it will improve your call quality on campus.
The following information is provided to ensure you have the necessary settings to navigate within your Moodle course at UL Lafayette. The status of each setting is determined by Moodle's minimum required recommendations.

LOS is a service provided by the University, to allow callers to call people in areas located out of the city limits of Lafayette. Callers can contact people on the order of up to 22 miles from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. These calls will be treated as a local/direct call and no extra charge will be assessed.
The following communities are covered by the LOS: (This is not necessarily a complete list)
All off campus dialing begins by obtaining dialtone, pressing the [9] key, and hearing dialtone.
You may dial the [9] and NNN-NNN-NNNN, this long distance call will be sent to the AOS Carrier. You must have a calling card, when you hear the AOS Carrier request tone (splash tone), enter the card number and PIN.
Follow the steps below for adding credit to your Papercut account.
Please note that once Cajun Cash is transferred to print quota it is nonrefundable.
1. Load money on to your Cajun Card (The only form of payment accepted is Cajun Cash. Please visit the Cajun Card site to get more information about loading money to your account.)
2. Log in to the PaperCut site
ULink is accessed with your unique ULID (ex. C00000000) and password combo.
Passwords can be reset online via the UCS Password Reset Utilities.
