Network Maintenance Sunday Nov 6

Scope of Maintenance: Network Services will be performing maintenance on the campus routers that interface with the Internet.

Affected Services: No user-facing services are expected to be affected; but wired, wireless, and VPN networks on campus might see a brief interruption in service to and from the Internet and/or the data center as maintenance steps take place.

Technical Details: Network Services will be performing software maintenance on the campus routers that interface with the Internet.  Connection redundancy is in place to provide continued service through this maintenance, but users might experience a brief outage to Internet and data center services, including the campus VPN and Ellucian Banner VPN.  This is the first to two scheduled maintenance events, with the second to follow at a later date.

Reporting: Network Services will perform maintenance in the area, test, and be available to address any issues that may arise. Please report sustained outages to the IT Service Desk at 337-482-4357 or ithelp@louisiana.edu.
