WiFi: How to connect your devices to eduroam

What is eduroam?

UL Lafayette uses the eduroam service for wireless internet connectivity across campus. The eduroam (education roaming) service, developed for the international research and education community, is a secure, worldwide wireless network access system that allows students, faculty, and staff from participating institutions to access the internet when visiting other participating institutions. With eduroam, you can connect to the network at other member institutions using your UL Lafayette credentials (ULID@louisiana.edu & ULID Password). Wireless network connectivity is available across the majority of campus buildings and many outdoor areas.

How do I connect?

All currently enrolled students and active employees should be able to log in and use the eduroam network on their computers, smartphones, and tablets using their ULID@louisiana.edu email address and ULID Password. See below for device-specific instructions.

Alternatively, there is another method for connecting to eduroam using the geteduroam App which provides a custom installer configured specifically for UL Lafayette.

Troubleshooting

If you are still unable to connect or need assistance, please contact the Service Desk by phone at (337) 482-HELP, or in person at Stephens Hall, room 110.
